* Ed Gradinger has been named president of MGM/UA Television Production Group. Gradinger, who replaces Lynn Loring, will be involved in all areas of the company, including business affairs, legal, creative, production and administration. He was formerly president of New World Entertainment. Gradinger’s appointment follows by one week that of Sid Cohen as president of domestic distribution at MGM/UA Television. Both report to MGM Worldwide TV Group Chairman David Gerber.
