K-Swiss Profit Climbs 10% for 3rd Quarter

K-Swiss Inc., a Pacoima-based maker of athletic footwear, said its third-quarter net income rose 10% from a year earlier on a 21% increase in revenue.

In the quarter ended Sept. 30, K-Swiss’ earnings climbed to $3.41 million from $3.12 million a year earlier, and its revenue rose to $38.1 million from $31.6 million.

For the first nine months of this year, K-Swiss’ profit jumped 24%, to $7.46 million from $6.0 million a year earlier, and its nine-month revenue increased 26%, to $98.8 million from $78.6 million.
