Scholastic surfers: Gavin Beschen of San Clemente and Capistrano Valley’s Anna Erickson won the MVP awards for the boys’ and girls’ divisions in the South Coast Surfing League. San Clemente’s Brian Wise was named MVP of the bodyboarding division.
