Hollywood-based Paramount Pictures has promoted John S. Pike to president of network television and international co-production as part of a multiyear contract extension. Pike, who has been overseeing development and production of such prime-time shows as “Cheers” and “Brooklyn Bridge,” will now also direct the TV division’s expanding international co-production activities.
