Live Entertainment Inc., a Van Nuys videocassette distributor, said it appointed David A. Mount chief executive and a director. Mount, president and chief executive of Live’s subsidiary, Live Home Video, succeeds Wayne M. Patterson, who resigned as chairman and chief executive last month. Alan J. Hirschfield, co-chief executive of Infotechnology Inc. and a Live director, is Live’s acting chairman until a permanent successor can be found.
