Rock and Rose

I’m glad that Hilburn is keeping up with his secret ambition to be rock’s Nick the Greek. Assigning artists “odds” (expressed as percentages) of entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame may seem like a waste of time, but ol’ Bob sure knows how to have fun with numbers.

I am so impressed by this arithmetic precision of mind that I have made my own assessments of Hilburn’s future:

Chances of winning the Pulitzer Prize : 0.1%.

Chances of winning the Nobel Prize for literature : 0.001% (if Sidney Sheldon and Jackie Collins are both disqualified).
