Madonna Dancers

As Liz Smith stated (“Slam Dancing with Madonna,” Jan. 23), the dancers did sign contracts and cashed paychecks for their work on Madonna’s “Blonde Ambition” tour. Nowhere in these contracts was it stated that the footage taken by director Alex Keshishian would be used for a theatrically released documentary. All of the dancers were pressured to sign a separate release form allowing Madonna to use this footage in whatever form she wished. However, this release form was not signed by the three dancers who have filed suit.
