GOOD TIMING: Long lines at Santa Ana’s state Employment Development Department office are a sign of the times. But at least some relief is on the way. The county will finally get a second unemployment office, in Mission Viejo, scheduled to open in June. “The lines are bound to be shorter,” says Betty Nelson of the Santa Ana office. Officials chose Mission Viejo for geographic balance.
