New Judge Named to Municipal Court

Peter Meeka has been appointed by Gov. Pete Wilson to the Rio Hondo Municipal Court to replace retiring Judge J. Gordon McNulty.
He will be paid $90,680 yearly. A member of the California Bar Assn., Meeka, 41, is president of the Eastern Los Angeles Bar Assn. and is a former board member of the Legal Services Program for Pasadena and the San Gabriel-Pomona Valley.
Meeka received his law degree from the University of LaVerne College of Law in 1977. He is married, has three children and lives in Pomona.
