I was utterly amazed to read Hastings Keith’s article on the Commentary page (Jan. 29), appropriately headlined: “Fairness Is One Thing; Pigs at a Trough Another.” Here is a man who benefits greatly from government pensions, yet has the moral courage to report on the abuse of this system by “superbly organized and well-funded self-interest/special interest politics of federal retiree organizations, both civilian and military.”
