Inglewood Man Shot to Death in North Hills

An Inglewood man was shot to death Sunday in North Hills, Los Angeles police said.
Wendell Lee Patterson, 25, was pronounced dead at a local hospital after the 4:45 p.m. shooting in the 8800 block of Orion Avenue, Sgt. Bruce Cowan said.
“The shooting appears to be gang-related,” Cowan said. “However, the motive is unknown.”
The neighborhood is known for drug sales and gang activity, he said.
No suspects have been identified, Cowan said.
