Means condemns “Dances With Wolves” as “the most insidiously racist movie produced in Hollywood since John Wayne.” Exactly how and why?
Rightfully, we should be given some documentation for such a sweeping indictment of a film that took the viewpoint of American Indians, featured them in sympathetic roles and contained more dialogue in native tongue than anything I can remember in more than six decades of moviegoing.
