Blaming the Japanese

In response to your excerpt from the book “The Coming War With Japan,” authored by George Friedman and Meredith LeBard, (Bookmark, Opinion, Feb. 16):

It seems to me that the two writers must either have gone completely off their rockers or else have it in their minds to create a sinister, stupid conspiracy somehow to bring America and Japan at each others throats. I have never read anything as ridiculous and outrageous as the part you printed.
