In its first quarterly round of 1992 grants, the National Endowment for the Arts has awarded $30,000 to Opera Pacific, which will use the funds for artists’ fees and production costs. The opera was the only Orange County recipient in this round. Nationwide, a total of $30 million was given out in 1,652 grants.
