Nikolay Antonov of Bulgaria defeated Carl Lewis in the 200 meters in an indoor meet at San Sebastian, Spain.
Antonov, who won the European 200-meter title last weekend, was timed in 20.51, Lewis in 20.75. Danny Everett beat his former UCLA teammate, Steve Lewis, in the 400 meters, winning in 45.52 seconds.
