Franchisees’ Choice: State of the Art Inc., an accounting software company in Irvine, said Monday that its accounting programs have been recommended as the software of choice for 300 franchisees of Irvine-based Taco Bell Corp.
State of the Art will present its product line to franchisees at a Taco Bell meeting in Maui, Hawaii, later this week. The company said it could not speculate on an expected amount in orders from the franchisees.
State of the Art announced last month that it plans to hire 93 employees in 1992, a 75% increase in its current work force of 124 people, because of sales growth and a new service program for customers.
