San Diego : Youth Charged in February Slaying

San Diego police have arrested a 17-year-old juvenile in connection with a Feb. 27 slaying in East San Diego.
The juvenile, whose name was not released because of his age, was arrested Friday in the 500 block of 15th Street by officers conducting a narcotic and auto theft investigation.
He was booked into Juvenile Hall and charged with murder.
The juvenile was charged in connection with the Feb. 27 shooting death of 27-year-old Mauricio Torres, who was found on a basketball court in the 4400 block of Landis Street. He died at UCSD Medical Center an hour later.
