Another Columbo: Viewers expecting another rerun of Peter Falk solving another murder as Lt. Columbo on ABC at 8 tonight will be in for a surprise. The listings still say “Columbo,” but instead of the current ABC version, or the 1971-77 NBC incarnation, what will be shown is the Feb. 26, 1979, premiere of “Mrs. Columbo,” a short-lived attempt to capitalize on the Columbo character without using Falk. Kate Mulgrew starred in the series, which went off the air about 10 months after its premiere. ABC said it was airing the show because the network was running low on “Columbo” reruns.
