Schwing-Time Sale: “Wayne’s World,” the year’s top-grossing film, will be released on videocassette Aug. 12, Paramount Home Video announced Monday. Paramount set the price at $24.95 and said details of the marketing program will be announced soon. Mike Myers and Dana Carvey star in the hit offbeat comedy, playing two Midwest guys who have their own cable-access show and love to party, salute babes and listen to heavy-metal music.
