Long jumper Llewellyn Starks, an Olympic medal contender who broke his right leg Sunday, said he will not return to competition for at least a year. Starks, the world’s fourth-ranked long jumper, was competing at the New York Games when his leg snapped as he hit the takeoff board for his third jump.
