Broadway Bound: Bernadette Peters and Martin Short appear headed for Broadway next season to star in a musical version of Neil Simon’s “The Goodbye Girl.” The trade publication Theatrical Index reports in its current issue that the show has a book by Simon, music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by David Zippel.
