Harry Gant crossed the finish line out of gas to win the Budweiser 500 at Dover, Del., by 26 seconds over Dale Earnhardt. After Gant, 52, won his first race of the season, his car had to be pushed by his crew to Victory Circle. Gant averaged 109.389 m.p.h. on the one-mile track.
