Tom Waterman, a Saddleback College pitcher, was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the 26th round of baseball’s amateur draft, the school announced Thursday.
Waterman has not decided if he will accept an offer from the National League expansion team. Waterman was 6-8 with a 4.11 earned-run average as a freshman this season.
