Lebanese Villages Hit After Bombing

JOUN, Lebanon — Israeli gunners pounded south Lebanon on Saturday after a roadside bomb killed two Israeli-backed militiamen in the bloodiest guerrilla attack in three weeks.
More than 25 shells slammed into the village of Joun, causing damage but no casualties, witnesses said.
Israeli and allied South Lebanon Army gunners also shelled the mountainous ridge of Iqlim al Toufah, held by pro-Iranian Hezbollah guerrillas, security sources reported.
