BIG DEAL: A fledgling group of Irvine architects has snagged its first major international deal--and one of the largest projects this year for a local firm. KTGY Group Inc. will design 1,500 residences--a $375-million project, said group president Robert Yamafuji--in a $1-billion resort community boasting a marina, hotels and golf courses along the south Mexico shore (D4).
