WORRIED: With the county supervisors meeting today on next year’s budget, a coalition of community groups held a press conference Monday to protest potentially deep cuts in mental health. . . . “Would you take away someone’s insulin?” asked Marty Fuca, a patient at a county clinic in Garden Grove. If mental health budgets are cut, Fuca and mental health workers say, it would be the same thing--patients depend on county services just as much.
