Rooney Sued: A former attorney for Mickey Rooney’s production company has sued the actor and the firm, claiming Rooney owes him fees from a book deal and acting projects that he brokered. Harold Levy, a former general counsel for Rooney’s Red Sail Corp., accused Rooney in the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court of breaching a fee agreement in 1990. Levy worked with Red Sail from 1983 to 1990. Rooney’s attorney said the actor fired Levy in 1990 and that Levy wasn’t owed money for the deals listed in the suit.
