Glendale : New Hotel Is Toast of Town

A champagne-popping ceremony was held last week to mark the “topping off” of construction of the 18-story, 350-room Red Lion Inn, to be completed in November as the first luxury hotel in Glendale.
City and business leaders gathered June 24 at the top of the concrete and steel structure at 100 W. Glenoaks Blvd. to sign the final steel beam as it was hoisted into position. The $36-million hotel features meeting rooms, banquet facilities and a rooftop lounge among its three restaurants.
