Oil Exports Revised Up for 2nd Quarter

PARIS — Oil exports from the former Soviet Union rose to an estimated 2 million barrels per day in the second quarter, the International Energy Agency said in its monthly report on the world oil market.
The West’s energy watchdog agency said the figure, revised from a previous estimate of 1.8 million barrels per day, was up from the 1.4 million estimated for the first quarter.
Exports rose from 1.4 million barrels per day to 2 million between April and May. But the agency said a small seasonal decline was expected in June.
IEA said oil production from what used to be the Soviet Union will continue to decline this year.
