**1/2 Various artists, “Cool World” soundtrack, Warner Bros.

Insistent rave-beats from techno-stars (Moby) and non-technoids (including new cuts by David Bowie and the Cult) are sure to keep dance floors animated. But the only tracks likely to stir any real live action are Ministry’s “N.W.O.” and the Thrill Kill Kult’s “Sex on Wheelz,” which are also on those Chicago acts’ latest albums.
