Maxi ‘Dolls’: New World Entertainment announced plans Monday for a 100-episode maxiseries based on Jacqueline Susann’s “Valley of the Dolls.” The “contemporized” remake will be set in Rome and Milan, Italy, rather than the 1960 original’s New York and Los Angeles. Production is set to begin early next year.
