GTE to Supply Weather Information System

GTE Corp. said its government systems unit in Westlake Village received a $7.8-million contract to produce and maintain a weather information system for the Swedish Air Force.
The system, called Milmet, will replace Sweden’s current automated weather information system and is scheduled for delivery in May, 1993.
