Pacific Enterprises said President and Chief Executive Willis B. Wood Jr. has been elected to the additional post of chairman, effective Sept. 1.
Wood, 57, was elected president in 1989 and chief executive last December. He has been with the company for 31 years.
The chairman’s post has been vacant since December.
Pacific Enterprises is headquartered in Los Angeles and owns Southern California Gas Co.
