Arrogance of School Board

The recent cancellation of summer school in the Somis Union School District is a prime example of why there is sufficient reason for the recall of three of the school board’s trustees.
I question the board making this decision in closed session on June 17. This was not a “personnel” matter but rather a topic which concerned the public and should have been put on an agenda in advance, discussed in open forum and voted upon. To let parents know after July 2 that this decision had been made smacks of arrogance and irresponsibility.
