More than $30,000 in medication will be donated by SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals to a dozen hospitals that incurred financial burdens while treating riot victims. In addition, the company will help pharmacies damaged in the riots recoup the costs of lost or damaged medicines not covered by insurance.
