Perkins’ Secret: Anthony Perkins’ wife, Berry Berenson, told the New York Times that her husband knew he had AIDS for the past two years but didn’t tell anyone because he was afraid if he did he would never work again in Hollywood. She also said she didn’t know how he had contracted the virus. Perkins, 60, died over the weekend. . . . .He can be seen on TV in one of his last roles in “In the Deep Woods,” an NBC telefilm airing Oct. 19. Perkins plays a police detective in the film about a woman who realizes someone she loves may be a serial killer. Rosanna Arquette co-stars.
