South Pasadena : Talk on Freeway Extension

As part of the ongoing debate over the proposed extension of the Long Beach (710) Freeway, an Australian environmentalist and author will make a presentation on traffic planning Friday.)
Jeff Kenworthy, of Murdoch University in Perth, will give a lecture and slide show entitled “Building Cities as if People Mattered” at 7:30 p.m. in the South Pasadena Library community room, 1115 El Centro St.
The program is sponsored by the city of South Pasadena, environmental groups and anti-freeway organizations.
The suggested donation is $5 per person.
