Anton’s Perks Supersede Needs

I find it appalling that Bill Anton will be walking away with thousands upon thousands of dollars in pensions, accumulated pay for sick days and vacation days after serving only two years as Los Angeles schools superintendent. Particularly when my 7-year-old child is sweltering in 100-degree heat in a classroom at Dixie Canyon Elementary School that cannot afford an air conditioner.

Obviously, increasing administrative perks and pensions was far more important over the years than considering the basic needs of students and teachers, especially in the San Fernando Valley schools.
