Please, when you write “Lagunans Willing to Pay More Taxes to Save Open Land” (Oct. 8), get your facts straight.
More than likely renters are willing to pay more taxes. Property owners are not willing to pay any more taxes!
Laguna Beach now owes unbelievable thousands of dollars for canyon property and has no way to pay for it.
The city fathers live in never-never land; they never seem to get their feet on the ground with the rest of us.
We property owners want no more taxes!
