More Police for Los Angeles

All the ballot measures are pretty clear except for Proposition K in Los Angeles. None of the ballot arguments I’ve seen on the topic are very thorough. I can’t figure out why Proposition K isn’t getting the attention it deserves.
I’m all for it, because Proposition K will keep the City Council from selling off the airport, as some politicians talked about not long ago. When K passes, the city can use airport excess revenues.
The city’s airport is an asset we should get some concrete payoff from it.
