Clinton Appointments

It appears that Bill Clinton will win the presidential election on Nov. 3.

I doubt that the Democratic Party hard-liners would go for the following proposal but perhaps Clinton would. Announce (even before Nov. 3?) that he will appoint George Bush as head of the National Security Council and Ross Perot as head of a newly formed National Economic Council.

Would this not bind the wounds and bring Americans together in a way we haven’t been since World War II?
