Consumer Credit Rises 2.7% in September

WASHINGTON — Consumer credit grew 2.7% at a seasonally adjusted annual rate in September, the first increase in eight months, the government said Friday.
The Federal Reserve said installment credit outstanding increased $1.6 billion.
