Judge Blocks Exxon From Ending Credit Card Program: U.S. District Judge Robert M. Takasugi has blocked Exxon from ending its credit card program--which requires local dealers to pay cash for gas and for the removal of equipment from their stations--until a dealers’ lawsuit against the giant oil company is settled. The order broadens an injunction Takasugi issued two weeks ago that bars Exxon from terminating franchise agreements with the dealers. The oil giant had planned to stop selling gas this fall in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties.
