Thank you for the thrills and spills in Baja. People contemplating this interesting journey should save those pages. My late husband, two of my sisters and a brother-in-law made this same trip in February, 1975. I had saved Times’ columnist Jack Smith’s articles on the subject published the year before and they followed them from Tijuana south. I’ll file these pages with Smith’s columns should any of my children want this delightful adventure.
