Cast Change: Scratch Whoopi Goldberg and insert Lily Tomlin in the cast of HBO’s “And the Band Played On.” HBO said Wednesday that Goldberg has withdrawn because of an upper respiratory infection. Swoosie Kurtz also has joined the cast of this dramatization of Randy Shilts’ account of the early years of the AIDS epidemic. Matthew Modine stars.
