Capital Cities/ABC Plans Employee Buyout: Capital Cities/ABC Inc. is planning to offer a buyout plan to 2,800 to 3,000 employees within its ABC Television Network Group. The TV Network Group consists of ABC Entertainment, ABC News and ABC Sports. A spokesman for the New York-based firm said the ABC-TV Network has been experiencing flat revenue for several years and is always re-evaluating its staffing levels.
