Al Fohrer has been promoted to the new position of senior vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer of SCEcorp and its Southern California Edison subsidiary.

Fohrer, 42, most recently was vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer of SCEcorp and SCE.

Fohrer joined Rosemead-based SCE in 1973 and has had responsibilities in finance and engineering areas. He also served as assistant treasurer for the company.
