Re “Yes, the Heavens Will Wait,” editorial, Feb. 20:
Heaven will wait, but those who live with space boondoggles are restless. Our national survival depends on paying our bills, not on creating billion-dollar toys for NASA’s entertainment. Very little of what they’ve discovered to date justifies even a fraction of the billions frittered away by these insatiably curious nerds.
