New ICN Biomedicals President: ICN Biomedicals Inc., a subsidiary of ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc., said Wednesday that it has promoted Bill A. McDonald to the post of president. McDonald was formerly executive vice president of tax and corporate development for ICN Pharmaceuticals.

McDonald succeeds Richard M. Fallis, who was appointed president of ICN Biomedicals Inc. when founder Milan Panic left in July to become prime minister of Yugoslavia. Fallis will return full time to his previous position as chief operating officer.

ICN Biomedicals Inc., based in Costa Mesa, is a supplier of biotechnology research products and medical diagnostics.
