Travelodges Moving In: Orange County is ripe...

Compiled by Chris Woodyard / Times staff writer

Travelodges Moving In: Orange County is ripe for a few more Travelodges, says the company that owns the trade name.

In particular, Santa Ana and Laguna Beach are two areas that are being heavily requested by Travelodge customers, according to parent company Forte Hotels Inc. in El Cajon.

“Although we already maintain a strong presence in the region, we have analyzed the markets and concluded that additional properties in these areas would strengthen the entire network,” said Greg Plank, senior vice president of franchise development for the chain.
